I originally trained in classical ballet, tap and modern jazz and then went on to teach a variety of exercises from Aerobics, Body Conditioning, Body Pump and Barre. Through a back injury whilst living in the US I was introduced to Pilates and seriously couldn’t believe the benefits it gave me and how quickly I recovered. I have practised Pilates ever since and 100% believe this is the reason I have not had any further relapses. I started teaching both equipment and mat classes in 2001 and have taught and trained with Stott Pilates, Polstar and Balanced Body in both the UK and US.
Pilates to me is functional fitness, I love it as it mirrors what we do in our daily lives but in a safe and controlled environment and let’s you become stronger, more flexible and more confident with every class you take.
I offer 1-2-1 Pilates Mat & Reformer at Woo Wellness and have a great schedule of availability.
