I first came to yoga as a means to calm my ‘monkey mind’ which would often leaving me feeling quite anxious. My Saturday morning practice was the highlight of my week, and always left me feeling peaceful and energised too. When my husband and I were having difficulties trying to conceive, my yoga practice was a real sanctuary for me. After a successful round of IVF, I decided that as soon as I could I would train to teach yoga myself. My journey has really continued from there. I trained as a Reflexologist, specialising in fertility and pregnancy, and as soon as I was qualified to teach yoga, I trained in pregnancy and postnatal yoga.
I am passionate about wellbeing and holistic remedies.
I also have a special interest in how yoga and movement can aid recovery from trauma and PTSD etc and will be undertaking further training to qualify as a Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher later this year. I will be offering this service in a group class environment and 1:1 basis from January 2022.
My yoga classes are inclusive for all (including those with PTSD and trauma) and are designed to leave you feeling energised and nourished in both body and mind.
I am also a Reiki Practitioner and HypnoBirthing Educator.
