I have practiced as a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist since 1999 and am
currently in full-time in private practice. I have continued to receive referrals
from various private organisations / therapy agencies, solicitors, GPs,
Psychiatrists and self-referrals.
I have had valuable experience treating clients and my expertise involves cases
presenting with work and personal stress related conditions, Post Traumatic
Stress and Adjustment Disorders, Personal Injury cases, Anxiety, Phobia,
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Depression.
I believe in the highest standards of practice. This involves maintaining prompt
records of treatment sessions and reporting on each client’s progress when
requested to the respective agencies concerned. This includes regular liaison and
reports of progress, on-going needs and / or recommendations for after-care. I
have always been very committed to my work and believe in the importance of
reviewing my practice and developing my skills and knowledge base further. I
value the input received in clinical supervision undertaken on a monthly basis and
attend the yearly workshops and conferences with the BABCP and EMDR UK as
part of my professional development and accreditation requirements.
